Above a
cream-coloured, Renaissance-influenced base and setbacks, the most notable
feature of the 53-storey, 205.5 m tall brown stone exterior are the pointed,
Gothic-style windows near the top. The lobby has light brown-toned marble decor and an intricate coffered ceiling complete with chandeliers. The lobby also contains Daniel Chester French's bronze model for the statue in the Lincoln Memorial in Washington, D.C., obtained in 1954. |
