At the entrance to the South Gatehouse and the Reservoir Jogging Track stands the East 85th St. Reservoir Bridge. This small cast-iron bridge spans the bridle path giving joggers easy access to the track.
They can be found doing exercise warm ups at the cast iron railing before making their run around the Reservoir. The arch is curved yet the tongue and groove walkway is flat. The quantity of ornament and openwork design is not as elaborate as the other two cast-iron bridges that surround the Reservoir.
